Indigenous Services

Saeed has a 15 year history with local Aboriginal community.  His work with the community includes managing fitness programs at the Tony Mundine Gymnasium at the Block, in Redfern.

He was adopted as a son by the late Jenny Mundine in the early 1990s and continues be a part of the family.

In Marrickville, he works very closely with the local Aboriginal community and agencies to improve indigenous services in the area. 

Due to the increased indigenous population in Marrickville area, Saeed is lobbying the State Government for two new Family and Youth workers to be placed at IWACC.

Saeed has been a member of the Marrickville Aboriginal Consultative Committee (MACC) since 2004.
